Growing Up Hip Hop: Hollywood star Angela Simmons as finally broken her silence about her beef with costar and longtime friend, Romeo Miller during a visit to The Breakfast Club.
“This season things just kind of went left,” Angela told the radio hosts.
“After everything happen with me and my child’s father and what happened with my son, he was like, ‘I’m going to be there for you,’ and he said this on TV,” Angela said, referencing the tragic murder of Sutton Tennyson, her former fiancé and the father of her 3-year-old son.
Angela says that Romeo did not come through for her.
“If you say that—and I don’t care if we’re filming or not—really mean that because that really means a lot to me, especially with what I have on my plate. And to me, he didn’t step up at all. I don’t expect nobody to do nothing for me; that’s fine, but he didn’t step up.”
Despite not hitting her up, Ang says Romeo has been talking about her during his scenes on the show. The tension may shock viewers as many have always felt that the pair would eventually get together officially.
“I still haven’t heard from him ’til this day,” she said, adding that she has no idea why Romeo has been icing her out. “We’ve been in the same room, and I haven’t heard from him… It’s not like this is something that’s fake.”
