Chrissy Lampkin says that marrying her longtime partner, Jim Jones, is not a “priority” for her anymore.
Fans were stoked when it was announced that the couple would be returning to the franchise, but unlike previous seasons, Chrissy will not be chasing a ring in this one.
“To be honest with you, it’s not a priority anymore,” Chrissy told the ladies on The Real. “Our relationship is in a good place. I thought that [marriage] was the natural progression, but it’s not for everybody. So, we’re good right now.”
The couple have been engaged for eight years and appeared on Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars Family Edition, where Jim was still caught between the love of his life, Chrissy, and his mama.
While on The Real, she explained why she and Jim decided to return to the show.
“They said they wanted to get back to the essence of the show,” Chrissy shared. “They said ‘come on and help us bring back some sexy,’ but my drama kicked in before the sexy.”
