Amber Rose is never one to be shy about her body.
The Slut Walk activist, 36, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a video of herself on a gurney awaiting a medical procedure to remove the excess weight she gained during her pregnancy with her son Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, who was born this past October.
“I’m about to get my whole body done after the baby. He’s gonna take out some of my jowls, it’s hereditary, just runs in my family,” she said pointing to her face. “He’s gonna suck all the baby fat out of my stomach. I’m super excited. I love you guys, wish me luck.”
In the video, the former flame of Kanye West wears a hospital gown and a pair of clear-rimmed glasses, with her face marked up for the upcoming procedure.
“@dr.matlock All of your favorite Girls and Guys go to him they just don’t tell you but I will! @dr.matlock he’s the best in the business.” she captioned the clip.
Fans were quick to comment, celebrating her sincerity, as one wrote, “Love that you’re open and honest about this! You do you girl. You’re a babe,” while another chimed in with, “Good luck babe! You already look amazing can’t wait to see your results!”
Amber welcomed her baby boy Slash with Def Jam record label executive Alexander ‘A.E’ Edwards. She also shares son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz with Whiz Khlaifa. They were married from July 2013 to September 2014.
The entrepreneur has been open about her cosmetic surgeries in the past, revealing she had a breast reduction in 2018, a decision she contemplated for three years.
“I was scared that I wouldn’t feel sexy anymore, but it got to the point where I literally was in pain,” Amber told People at the time. “It was almost as if I had like a heavy backpack on my chest.”
The surgery was a huge success and made Amber’s life that much easier.
“Now when I’m running out the door, I don’t have to search for the right bra to fit within the shirt or to match the color of the shirt, so, it doesn’t show and look gaudy,” she told the publication. “I can kind of just throw it on and I’m like, ‘This is amazing!’ I’ve been missing this my whole life.”
