Last night’s episode of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé introduced fans to Blake Abelard and Jasmin Lahtinen. The two are a very cute couple – but now folks on social media are saying that Jasmin may just be using Blake – to get her green card in the United States.
A number of blogs and social media personalities are pushing this “green card” theory.
Blake and Jasmin met on a dating app. The two dated briefly – here in the United States – and then Jasmin went back home to Helsinki, Finland. They stayed in touch and after two years Blake proposed, and she came to the US via the 90 Day Fiance show.
But the timing is interesting. Jasmin came over to the United States just a few weeks after her sister (who is also her best friend) was legally allowed to emigrate here.
Jasmin’s sister Janet Lahtinen won a diversity lottery visa and moved to Los Angeles – where she started living the life of a glam Insta-model.

Janet was a finalist in Miss Helsinki’s beauty pageant in 2017. Her sister Jasmin is a gymnast and a social media model.
Her Instagram is filled with sexy pics – taken at very luxurious places. It’s not clear what she does for a living (outside of starring on the TLC show).
