Ciara & Megan Thee Stallion Have A Twerk Battle – Who Won? (Video)

On Thursday, the American Music Awards hosted their red carpet roll-out photoshoot with Ciara, but while she’s keeping things prim and proper for the professionals, it looks like she’s teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for a little turn-up session behind-the-scenes.

R&B singer Ciara and female rapper Megan The Stallion had a twerk battle last night on Instagram.

And so far the fans seem to think that MEGAN was the winner.

The two ladies were at an event together, and decided to give their fans a treat with the sexy dance.

Hot Girl Meg won’t be performing at the show, but she will making an appearance as a presenter. The singer and rapper surfaced on social media on Friday evening to share similar videos that featured both of them showing off their dancing skills as they dropped it low for cameras. “Team long legs 🤑 @ciara,” Megan wrote in her caption.

Over on Ciara’s Instagram, the singer wrote, “Linked up with my Melanin Queen @TheeStallion #Melanin Paahpin! #StrongKneeGame. P.s. @thegirljt and @yungmiami305 verse goes hard 🔈.” The song she’s referring to is her recently released collaboration “Melanin” that features City Girls, Ester Dean, Lala Anthony & Lupita Nyong’o.

Megan is the top female rapper in the game. She surpassed Cardi B this summer, when she released her hit song Hot Girl Summer (with Nicki Minaj).

Ciara burst onto the scene with her debut studio album Goodies, which spawned four singles: “Goodies”, “1, 2 Step”, “Oh” and “And I”. “Goodies” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and garnered four nominations at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards. Ciara was also featured on Missy Elliott’s “Lose Control” and Bow Wow’s “Like You”, both of which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2006, Ciara released her second studio album, Ciara: The Evolution, which spawned the hit singles “Get Up”, “Promise”, “Like a Boy” and “Can’t Leave ’em Alone”. The album reached number one in the U.S. and was certified platinum.
