Rihanna’s beautifully bald Fenty model, Slick Woods, seems to be battling cancer.
The 23-year-old Minnesota native took to Instagram Wednesday to post a photo with the following caption: “How I feel about chemotherapy, shout out to everyone that gotta go through it #atleastimalreadybald.”
Soon after, The Shade Room reported that the model confirmed to them she is battling stage III melanoma cancer and that the cancer is spreading. According to the publication, Woods is fighting for her life.
Woods went on to share another photo with another cryptic message. “Stop treating me like a victim,” she captioned the closeup shot of her 20-month-old son, Saphir.

Slick, whose real name is Simone, rose to fame when she walked in Rihanna’s Fenty x Savage Spring 2019 New York Fashion Week show at nearly nine months pregnant. She went into labor and gave birth to Saphir immediately after.
“A lewk, 14 hours of labor, and A king is born,” she captioned a photo of her rocking the runway, which she posted after her son was born. “This is the face of a WOMAN IN LABOR, we hold shit down most of us don’t even know how much we’re going through, I’m here to say I CAN DO WHATEVER THE F–K I WANT WHENEVER THE F–K I WANT AND SO CAN YOU.”
