Two of the stars of Bravo’s hit show, The Real Housewives of Potomac, are currently facing the REAL possibility of an arrest and having to spend time in jail.
Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels from The Real Housewives of Potomac are both facing criminal charges in connection with an altercation that occurred between the two of them last month.
MTO News was the first to break to you the story that Candiace and Monique got into a fight during the filming of the show.
According to our eyewitness, Candiace “threw a drink” at Monique – and Monique dragged Candiace across the floor by her hair in retaliation.
Earlier this week, however, Candiace went to the police and filed a criminal complaint against Monique – asking for her to be charged with second degree assault.
According to our sources Monique has also gone to the police, and intends to file a criminal complaint against Candiace as well. Monique intends to have Candiace charged with second degree assault.
Second degree assault is a serious crime in Maryland. While it is a misdemeanor, defendants can be punished with up to 10 years of incarceration along with a monetary penalty of 2,500.
Here’s the paperwork filed by Candiace against Monique. Monique’s complaint is expected to be filed by Monday.
