Hip hop superstar Drake was booed off the stage last night, as he was performing at the Camp Flog Gnaw Festival
The booing was caught on video – and the footage is already making the rounds on social media.
In the clip, the Canadian hip-hop star can been seen begging the audience: “Like I said, I’m here for you,” and, “If you want me to keep going, I’ll keep going.”
Unfortunately the crowd wasn’t trying to hear any more of Drake’s music.
Drizzy was hit with a chorus of boos and “nos.” Eventually Drake walked off the stage, twenty minutes earlier than expected, and he was carrying his head low.
But before leaving, the rapper said, “It’s been love. I go by the name of Drake, thank you for having me.”
Why did they boo Drake? Well Drake was the unwitting victim of some “fake news”.
An Instagram live recording led many fans to believe Frank Ocean, an artist with a close relationship with Tyler, would be the night’s special guest.
Turns out that wasn’t true, but fans were so ready to see Frank – that they hurried Drake off the stage.
