Embattled NFL star Antonio Brown will reportedly not be expected to play this football season again.
Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN that he is “confident Antonio will play again this season. I believe the NFL should clear him after they interview him this week, and I expect he will be signed shortly after that,” Rosenhaus told ESPN, whose sources told them that he will not be back this year.
Brown is being investigated by the NFL under its personal conduct policy following a lawsuit filed by his former trainer, Britney Taylor, that alleges she was sexually assaulted by Brown on multiple occasions. Another woman also stepped forward to accuse him but did not file a lawsuit.
Just last week, the former Steelers Wide Receiver Antonio Brown has publicly blasted the NFL and vowed never to return to the league again.
“Imagine conforming to a system giving it 100 percent to see them treat me like this is unfairly! Making money off my sweat and blood, f*ck the NFL, I’ll never play in that sh*t. Treat black people the worse! Clear my name and go f*ck yourself,” he tweeted.
He later walked back on his tweet, stating that he wishes to return to the league.
