Police administered CPR en route to Mount Sinai Hospital, but she died there hours after arriving.

Griggs’ grandfather told Page Six in a message, “The world lost a real princess who only wanted to make the future happy for all. Acting was a just a childhood dream come true and she had big plans for the future.”

Griggs made her Broadway debut at age 6 in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” opposite Scarlett Johansson, and played Ivanka in the popular Broadway show “ONCE: The Musical.” She appeared in two “SNL” sketches and had a role in the 2016 Woody Allen film “Café Society.”

TMZ reports that Griggs’ school, the Clinton School in NYC, closed for half a day in Laurel’s honor.
