Alexis Crawford, a 21 year old student who attends Clark-Atlanta University was found dead on Friday. Police found her body in a DeKalb County park, WSB-TV reports.
Police say that Alexis’ roommate, 21-year-old Jordyn Jones, is the one who led police to the body.
Local reports suggest that Jordyn may have confessed to her role in Alexis’ death. Her boyfriend, Barron Brantley, 21, is also considered a suspect in Crawford’s death, according to police.
“Jordyn had been Alexis’ friend and her roommate,” a police spokesperson told the media. “The case has come to one of the saddest conclusions possible and has been absolutely heartbreaking.”

The motive for Alexis’ killing is not known.
According to police, Alexis previously had reported unwanted kissing and touching from Jordyn’s boyfriend.
In the last photos of Crawford seen alive, she was shown inside a liquor store at 595 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd in southwest Atlanta with a pink sweatshirt on.
