Khloe Kardashian received a congratulatory gift from ex Tristan Thompson and the reality star chalked it up to their co-parenting success.
The 35-year-old designer took to her Instagram story on Friday to reveal that Tristan sent her a big bunch of pink balloons to celebrate the launch of her new KKW Fragrance. And the balloons spelled out the name of the perfume.
“Today was the launch of my pink diamond collection with KKW Fragrance and I got these balloons sent to me from baby True and Tristan and I really appreciate the love and the thoughtfulness,” Khloe said in the video, referring to their one-year-old daughter True.
Khloe then noted how far her and Tristan have come in sharing parental duties for baby True.
“I’m really proud at the co-parenting place that we are in!” she added.
The couple — who first started dating in 2016 — split after news broke in February that he cheated on Khloe with longtime family friend Jordyn Woods.
While appearing on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast, Khloe said she forgave Tristan. “I don’t think he’s a bad person, I think we all make mistakes, we’re humans,” she added. “But it’s only gonna hurt me if I’m holding onto this anger, play the victim role. I don’t believe in being the victim. I believe in okay, this happened to me, let’s figure it out, let’s push through it and maybe if I’m open and honest about it, it can help other people feel like its okay, we’re all human, we’re all gonna get through things.”
“It’s a beautiful thing to also forgive her dad, he’s a great person,” continued Khloe. “Maybe him and I weren’t compatible in that way, but that’s okay. I always want True to be surrounded by love. I just want her to always feel bliss just as much as I can.”
With such a positive outlook, it appears Khloe and Tristan may continue to win at co-parenting.
