Mark your calendars for sometime in mid-January, because that’s when Ashley Graham‘s bundle of joy is expected to arrive!
The model revealed she’s expecting a boy in a rapid-fire question round with Ellen DeGeneres, seemingly realizing she’d let the crucial detail slip a moment too late.
“Are you having a boy or a girl?” Ellen asked in the interview airing on Thursday.
“A boy,” Graham replied instantly before letting out a shriek as the crowd erupted in applause. “I’m going to be a mommy to a boy!”
Graham also discussed the ups and downs of being pregnant, most notably an instance of the notorious “pregnancy brain” that led to Graham forgetting her own phone number and her makeup team texting several pictures of Graham in full glam to a random person (who replied with a thumbs-up).

This is Ashley’s first pregnancy, and on this journey with her is her husband of nine years, choreographer Justin Ervin. According to Graham, they met in an elevator in New York — and as they say, the rest is history.
She announced the exciting news in an Instagram post, where she exclaims , “Surprise!” as the camera pans away to reveal her growing belly.
“Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY!,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Happy anniversary, @mrjustinervin ❤️ Life is about to get even better. 😘”
Her husband also shared a similar post, captioning the picture of Graham and the ultrasound of their baby boy, “I love you and I love us. All of us…”
