Rapper Gorilla Zoe has reportedly been arrested for domestic battery after getting into an altercation with his girlfriend.
According to TMZ, Gorilla Zoe was nabbed by the cops Sunday morning in Monroe County, Florida, after security at La Siesta Resort called cops to say they saw Zoe get physical with his girlfriend on his hotel room balcony.
Security told the cops that he was seen trying to push her back into the room, and when she did not comply, he shoved her to the ground. She then fled into the room, locking him on the balcony.
The rapper then began to kick and punch the glass doors, and she let him inside. The police arrived to find him pinning her to the floor.
“We always drink and argue, nothing more. He’s never gotten physical with me. Isn’t that what happens when everyone drinks?” the outlet reports his girlfriend told the cops, letting them know that this was not his first time becoming confrontational after a few drinks.
He was released an hour later after post $2,500 bond.
