Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds sat down for an interview where she spoke candidly about her allegedly abusive marriage to baseball star, Jim Richards.
“I have endured prolific controlling by Jim, and it isn’t slowing down. Even when I make an unassuming post on Instagram, he hurls insults at me for a battery of made-up indiscretions. I’m sick of the abuse and I won’t engage anymore — and I don’t have to,” she told US Weekly.
The couple has filed for divorce after Jim was allegedly caught cheating with the nanny. A claim he has vehemently denied.
Jim released a statement last week apologizing and promising to “make things right,” but Meghan says she was not pleased with his words.
“That’s not fair to me. He is not my mouthpiece, and I believe the facade he presented is false and manipulative to the public while using and taking advantage of me.”
Meghan has been securing plenty of headlines following the affair drama. We think we’ll be seeing Meghan in the next season of the show.
