RHOA’s Kenya Moore Claims NeNe Leakes Tried to Spit on Her, Talks Divorce

Kenya Moore says her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star, NeNe Leakes, tried to spit on her.

While appearing on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Sunday night, a caller asked the returning Housewife if fans will get to see her reconcile with her longtime nemesis during Season 12, which premiered right before.

“Absolutely not. I think she’s pretty much dead to me,” Kenya replied. “When someone tries to spit on you, I think they’re not ever gonna be friends with you, so yeah. That’s pretty much done.”

TooFab has contacted Leakes and Bravo seeking comment.

An inquiring caller later asked Kenya which Barbie NeNe would have come dressed as, had she been invited to her daughter’s princess party, which was documented on the premiere.

“Warthog Barbie?” Kenya replied with a snarky giggle. Andy was dying.

Moore spent the remainder of the interview revealing all sorts of interesting information in regard to her marriage and estranged husband, Marc Daly.

Kenya famously went on hiatus from “RHOA” in Season 11. It was speculated at the time that she was forced to choose between her husband and being on the show, which she seemed to confirm Sunday night.

“I already made that choice, and it didn’t work out so well for me,” she told a caller, before clarifying to Andy, “I chose my marriage and my relationship over my career [when I didn’t come back last season]. I feel like I wanted my family, I wanted to have a healthy pregnancy. Ultimately, I chose my family.”

“We saw the sad news that you filed for divorce,” Andy noted, before she clarified, “I have not filed yet.”

“You announced your separation?” he asked, which she confirmed.

When Cohen asked how things were between the former couple, Moore explained, “They’re cordial. We had [Brooklyn’s first] birthday party today. We co-parented successfully during that, and hopefully it’ll continue the same way.”

Regarding whether the two signed a prenup, she revealed they did not.

“No prenup, no,” Moore said to a shocked Cohen. “Listen, we’re both successful. I own my home outright prior to marriage. And for what I know not being a lawyer, I think that’s protected. That’s my biggest asset. And Marc’s successful, so I just didn’t think that things would ever get to a point where he would come after money. He hasn’t yet.”

A caller later asked Kenya whose decision it was to split and wondered if there was hope for reconciliation.

“Whoa, that’s a heavy question. I believe it was mutual,” she replied. “And is there hope? There’s always hope. We haven’t filed yet. There’s always hope.”

Kenya went on to say that she and Marc still have issues that “haven’t been worked through, and I think that’s always what I was asking for. It just never happened.”

Someone else asked if she was dating, to which she fired back, “No, I’m not dating. I’m still married, and I will not date until I’m divorced.”

That same person wondered if she felt being on the show put a strain on their relationship.

“No, there were issues before the show,” Kenya replied, noting that their courtship lasted only seven months. When Andy half-noted/half-wondered if there were “issues from the start,” Kenya said that was “a good way to characterize it. We just haven’t worked through things that popped up early on in our relationship, and they just got exacerbated by everything else.”

When a final caller asked Moore if she’d consider contacting former “RHOA” star and attorney Phaedra Parks for legal representation, should she choose to proceed with the divorce, Kenya chuckled and said, “If I wanna lose everything I’ve ever earned!”

Cohen laughed into his hands and muttered, “I’m glad you’re back.”

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
