Thursday’s episode of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” picked up right where last week’s left off — with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi having a meltdown after Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Angelina Pivarnick’s screaming match.
Thankfully, after everyone got a good night’s sleep, Angelina was able to have a civil and sober conversation with Jenni, which is what Deena Cortese wanted all along.
Jenni informed Angelina that her boyfriend, Zack Clayton Carpinello aka “24,” told her that Angelina kissed him when they were all at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas. Angelina was confused and promised Jenni she didn’t. Jenni also said Zack told her that his alleged “grab” of Angelina’s butt was a simple arm-around-the-waist situation that happened while he had his other arm around Jenni. JWoww said she didn’t care about the touching as much as she did about the kissing.
Angelina apologized, as did Jenni for going into defensive mom mode. Ultimately, the two agreed to wait until the footage aired to get to the bottom of what really went down. At the time, they even hugged it out! We were shocked and happy to see it.
After the episode aired, however, we know Jenni flipped out when she saw Zack getting more touchy-feely with Angelina than he originally led on. Cameras also captured what appeared to be a consensual, three-way kiss among them. JWoww subsequently dumped 24, only to get back together a week later. But Jenni and Angelina have since been going at it on social media, so it would appear their peace didn’t last long.
After Angelina and Jenni made up, Nicole asked Angelina if they could speak privately. They walked away from the group to have another civil and sober conversation. Snooki maintained that the reason she got involved was because she truly cares about Angelina. Though Angelina didn’t necessarily feel the love, she accepted the explanation and agreed to move on.
But Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was still pissed that Jenni dragged him into her issues with Angelina the night before, so he vented to Vinny Guadagnino and Pauly D.
Vinny commended Ronnie for not reacting the way he could have and reassured him it was Jenni who brought up the dude ranch, where Ronnie and Angelina spoke about her divorce on camera, which happened “months and months and months ago.”
“That’s what girls do,” Ronnie said. “They’re like like Crock-Pots. They let shit slow and marinate, and f–king eight hours later, shit wants to be ready. Guys are like microwaves. I wasn’t speaking against her, I wasn’t saying anything bad; I was just speaking the truth, just like she says she does, and she took offense to it. That’s what it is. If you can’t take it then don’t dish it.”
While Vinny agreed Jenni’s comments were unnecessary and poorly timed, he reminded Ronnie that they’ve always had a “love-hate, brother-sister” relationship.
“Yeah, but it’s just kind of like, how many times are you gonna have the same conversation with the same person?” Ron replied. When Vin asked if they could “still be cool,” Ronnie said yes. “What am I gonna do?” he said in defeat. “I’m gonna argue with a narcissistic person that always thinks she’s right? If I wanted to do that, I would argue with somebody on Instagram in my comments.”
He elaborated in his confessional, once again calling JWoww “narcissistic.”
“She’s the person that never does wrong. Everybody’s always wrong. When something happens, it’s because of something, it’s because of someone else,” Ron vented. “It’s kind of like, you maybe need to grow up and realize that it’s not about changing other people or changing your environment; it’s about changing yourself.”
“But that’s your own shit you gotta figure out,” he added. “I’m not f–king Dr. Phil. You can’t afford me.”
Later, Pauly and Vinny overheard the girls giving Angelina a hard time about her supposed nipple piercing. If you recall, that’s the “lie” that set JWoww off at the dinner table last week, so the guys decided to take matters into their own hands. Pauly went downstairs and asked their security guard if he could borrow his metal detector wand. He and Vinny then marched upstairs to find out the truth.
The girls were dying laughing at the lengths the guys were willing to go to, but Angelina was ready to be vindicated. She put her arms up in the air as Pauly waved the wand in front of her chest. Lo and behold, her right nipple is pierced.
And if you were wondering, Pauly still has his penis pierced.
Later that night, Jenni had a candid conversation with Nicole about her divorce from Roger Mathews. Though she was happy with Zack, she was still sad over the demise of her marriage.
“We were talking about regrets earlier, and I’ve been thinking about the biggest one,” she said to Nicole, who blurted out, “Roger. He’s the f–king worst. But you always knew it wasn’t right.”
“Yup,” JWoww replied. Nicole reminded her that that marriage bought her her two beautiful children, which did bring Jenni some comfort. “They’re my bliss,” she said, “as I’m suffering.”
“I’m going through it with the divorce,” JWoww added in a later confessional. “It’s been like almost a year since I filed. When you get a divorce, you’re supposed to be celebrating and like start a new chapter, but it’s really heartbreaking. And it’s stressful, the up-and-down battle of figuring out custody issues. I just don’t know when it gets better. It’s more than exhausting; it can like mentally break someone. I just want peace.”
