Jessica Biel is about as tenacious as they come in the Facebook Watch show, “Limetown,” where she portrays a reporter on a mission.
Not even getting attacked in her hotel room by an unknown assailant can deter her.
In TooFab’s sneak peek of Wednesday’s two new episodes, Lia Haddock (Biel) shows just how far she’s willing to go for the truth — by blackmailing her boss, Gina (Sherri Saum), in order to stay on the Limetown story.
“I built this story from the ground up, and you’re gonna have to kill me first,” Lia tells Gina, after threatening to reveal a “manager-subordinate romantic relationship that happened at least three times on your desk.”
Based on the hit podcast of the same name, “Limetown” follows the journalist as she unravels the mystery behind the disappearance of over 300 people at a neuroscience research community in Tennessee.
The 10-episode series airs Wednesdays on Facebook Watch.
