Fans believe Halsey has broken her silence on her split from English musician Yungblud after being spotted holding hands with “American Horror Story” actor and Emma Roberts’ ex-fiancé, Evan Peters.
“Sometimes. People just break up,” Halsey, real name Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, posted Monday in a since-deleted tweet, captured by an Instagram fan account. “It doesn’t mean someone cheated or something bad happened or someone f–ked up. Sometimes. It just happens. Because life is constantly changing. And adults stay friends and move on.”
She later added a cryptic, “now u know what u know,” which still lives on her Twitter.

Halsey and Yungblud, real name Dominic Richard Harrison, dated for about a year following her breakup from rapper G-Eazy, real name Gerald Earl Gillum, who she claims cheated on her.
Over the weekend, however, Halsey, 25, and Evan Peters, 32, went public with their rumored romance.
On Friday night, the duo was spotted holding hands and wearing matching costumes at the singer’s annual Almost Famous Halloween bash. She subsequently posted a photo with Peters on Instagram.
“Resident goths,” she captioned his inaugural appearance on her page.
Then on Saturday night, the two made their red carpet debut at the AHS 100th Episode Party. Even more telling that this romance is official is that they donned another matching couples costume: Sonny and Cher.
Halsey and Peters first sparked romance rumors earlier this month after photos emerged of them holding hands at Six Flags Magic Mountain outside Los Angeles.
And it’s well-known that Halsey’s a big fan of Peters, as she said in a since-deleted tweet from 2013, “Petition for Evan Peters to date me,” followed by this one from 2014: “I’m so in love with Evan Peters I’m so whipped I’m whipped as f–k!”
Earlier this year, Evans and Emma Roberts called off their engagement, with Roberts moving on to date Triple Frontier star Garrett Hedlund.
