Country star Ned LeDoux’s two-year-old daughter has died in a choking accident.
The family confirmed the heartbreaking news in a Facebook post on Sunday.
“It is with great sadness that Ned & Morgan inform friends and fans that their two year old daughter Haven passed away on October 20th due to a tragic choking accident in the home,” they wrote.
“The LeDoux family appreciates your love and support and is requesting privacy at this time.”
A statement to Taste of Country continued: “Paramedics were called to the family’s northeast Kansas home on October 20th and arrived quickly, but attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.”
The 42-year-old singer-songwriter and his wife, who have been married for 11 years, only celebrated the child’s second birthday on September 15.
Ned is the son of the late country singer and rodeo hall of famer Chris LeDoux.
In June, fellow country star Granger Smith lost his three-year-old son River in a drowning accident at their home, just three weeks after his third birthday.
