Despite concerns that her fiancé would leave her following the now infamous drama stemming from a drunken night in Las Vegas, Angelina Pivarnick celebrated her bridal shower this past weekend — which by all appearances means her wedding to Chris Langeira is still very much on.
But what’s even more interesting is that one of her “Jersey Shore” co-stars was in attendance, despite Pivarnick’s ongoing feud with Jenni “JWoww” Farley.
Deena Cortese was the only roommate at Angelina’s extravagant bridal shower, which included a lavish display of cupcakes, cake pops, macaroons, a two-tiered cake and a photo booth backdrop adorned in pink roses.
Though it’s unclear if Deena was the only castmember invited, it’s very clear Angelina was grateful she showed up. In fact, she tagged her first in an Instagram post thanking her bridesmaids, meaning Cortese is likely in Pivarnick’s wedding party.
As fans and viewers of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” know, Jenni and Angelina have been feuding over what aired from the group’s trip to Sin City on a recent episode of the MTV series. Jenni was present but admittedly too drunk to remember what happened.
According to Zack, Angelina kissed him, but Angelina says Zack actually grabbed her hip/butt in a way that made her “uncomfortable.” Cameras showed what appeared to be a consensual, three-way kiss involving JWoww, as well as footage of Angelina dancing closely to Zack, who appeared to then put his hand around her.
JWoww subsequently dumped “24,” the age-inspired nickname her roommates gave her boyfriend, only to reconcile a week later. Evidently, Angelina was also able to smooth things over with Chris, who proposed in January of 2018.
Farley and Pivarnick, however, have not been able to make amends, and it’s ignited a spin-off feud with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
Deena has repeatedly said she doesn’t want to be involved in the fighting but has also been supportive of Angelina in the midst of all the drama.
“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on MTV.
