Christina Hendricks, 44, and Geoffrey Arend, 41, are going their separate ways after 10 years of marriage.
In a statement on Instagram, Christina said, “Twelve years ago we fell in love and became partners. We joined our two amazing families, had countless laughs, made wonderful friends and were blessed with incredible opportunities. Today, we take our next step together, but on separate paths.”
“We will always be grateful for the love we’ve shared and will always work together to raise our two beautiful dogs,” Christina added. “We will be taking time to rediscover ourselves in this transition and we thank you for your patience and support in giving us the space to do so.”
The announcement comes just weeks after Christina attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles without wearing her wedding ring.

There were more signs of trouble when Geoffrey posted a cryptic message on their 10th wedding anniversary. He wrote on Instagram, “Anytime you’re feeling low, bookend yourself in dogs. Can’t recommend it enough.”
The couple met through her “Mad Men” co-star Vincent Kartheiser. After two years of dating, Geoffrey popped the question at Il Buco in NYC, where they eventually got married.
Aside from their dogs, Christina and Geoffrey have no children. A few years ago, she told Health magazine, “We’ve decided that we are not really interested in having children.”
“It seems like it’s expected that you’d want to have kids. It’s just very normal for people to say, ‘Well, when you guys have kids…’ And then when I say, ‘Actually, I don’t think we’re going to do that,’ people will say, ‘Oh, you say that now …’ It doesn’t bother me, though. And, you know, there’s a small chance I could change my mind,” Hendricks said.
