Ever Wondered What’s In My Bag During Fashion Week?

Well, it mostly contains my favourite on-the-go beauty products at the moment and then some.

As you all know, fashion week is hectic. Nailing my makeup in the morning is only half the battle won; touching it up on-the-go would be the other half, especially when there’s so much running from show to show that I can almost guarantee I have gotten my workout in for the year.

There are a handful of beauty products that I never leave the hotel without, for they are compact and easy-to-use, even when I’m at the back of a cab. The Cle De Peau Refining Pressed Powder LX is perfect for taking away shine and replacing it with a velvety glow, while Fenty Beauty Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil And Styler makes sure that my brows stay on fleek. The latter comes with a real handy built-in paddle brush too.

To avoid dry and cracked lips, I constantly apply my lip balm. This fashion week, I alternated between The Lip Volumiser by La Mer as well as Clinique’s Moisture Surge Lip Hydro-Plump Treatment. Both makes my lips soft and supple as well as preps them for smoother application of lipstick. When I’m looking for more colour in my lips, I apply the Nars Audacious Lipstick in Lou, which is hands down the best nude shade ever.

Of course, apart from my beauty products, you can count on me to have a packet of mints that I can pop into my mouth so that my breath stays fresh all day. The bulkiest item in my bag would probably be my trusty portable charger to make sure that my phone doesn’t run out of juice. With all these essentials in my bag, I’m ever ready for the next appointment on my fashion week schedule!
