Miley Cyrus is recovering in a hospital after reportedly undergoing surgery.

Cyrus let fans know she was suffering from tonsillitis a day before confirming that she had been admitted. Now, a source tells People that Miley underwent surgery for the inflammation, typically caused by a viral or bacterial infection.
Miley was hopeful that she would be released by the weekend, and asked fans for good vibes. She wrote on Twitter, “Trying to heal as quick as I can to make it to Gorillapalooza w @TheEllenShow @PortiaDeRossi @BrunoMars this weekend! Send gooooood vibes my way! Hoping the Rock star G*DS send me a boost of bad ass and help me kick this s— to the curb where it belongs! We got gorillas to save!”
Cyrus made the best of the situation by goofing around with her hospital gown and spending time with her rumored boyfriend Cody Simpson.
Cyrus posted a photo of her mom Tish brushing her hair, writing, “How you present yourself can determine how you feel!”
She then transformed her hospital gown into a #punkrockbabydollhalter. Check out the pic!
In one Instagram Story post, she teased, “BF coming to visit me @ the hospy,” before posting photos and videos of Cody.
The star shared a pic of Cody, writing, “Arrived with roses and his guitar in hand. #ImNotCrying #YoureCrying.”
Cyrus also posted a video, writing, “suddenly I am feeling much better… this sweeeeeeeet guy came to visit at the hospital and sang the sweeeeetest song he wrote just for me.”
Miley loved it so much she is “currently pressuring him to DROP IT net week.”
