THE RITZ-CARLTON NAPLES // TOASTING SUNSETS

In July I attended an event at Saks Fifth Avenue to celebrate their partnership with The Ritz-Carlton and celebrate the newest window installation on 5th Avenue in NYC. The two iconic brands came together and designed window displays featuring the themes of “Unforgettable Moments in Legendary American Destinations”. Each window paired fashion with the signature Ritz-Carlton moment that guests experience at six different properties.

Fast forward a few months, and was fortunate enough to start a partnership with The Ritz-Carlton and see a few of these signature #RCMemories myself. First up, visiting the The Ritz-Carlton Naples in Southwest Florida! It was a few days full of sun, sand, great food, and tons of pool time! The beautiful property is located right on the beach and only a few miles from the historic center of Naples, but with seven restaurants and endless things to do, you really don’t need to leave! I am highlighting a few of my favorite experiences at the resort below…

This Ritz-Carlton property is located right on Naples beach and features stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to the miles of beach front access, there are two different outdoor heated pools on property – a family pool, and an adults only relaxation pool. I spent most of my time wandering from the pools to the beach and back, with pit stops at the famed Gumbo Limbo, the hotel’s oceanfront outdoor seafood spot. The poolside cabanas and personal concierge service was too good to pass up and made already relaxing days even better than expected. There are also additional cabanas and a whirlpool on the deck outside of the spa. Needless to say, it was difficult to go back to my room!

I was fortunate enough to be staying on The Club Level of the resort. My room was located on the 14th floor and was stunning. It featured a living room and bedroom with private balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Being on the Club Level also gave me access to the Club Lounge. The lounge offers personalized service and complimentary food and beverages, and features a library, fireplace, and cozy seating area. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a light breakfast before taking on the day and even more fitting for a nightcap glass of wine. Everything about the room and lounge was unbelievable relaxing!

Food, Food, Food! From breakfast in bed, to sushi at Dusk, to cocktails and desserts in the club lounge, you can eat all day long if you so choose. Breaking news – I did. There are eight innovative dining options on property ranging from fine dining to resort casual to poolside. Gumbo Limbo had to be my favorite spot (Lobster Quesadilla and Conch Chowder anyone?) – it’s hard to beat outdoor dining at sunset and fantastic drinks just steps away away from the water!

The Ritz-Carlton Naples resort celebrates sunset each evening with the ringing of a bell and a toast, the perfect way to wind down your day and begin your evening. All in all, I was looking for a few days of pure relaxation and beautiful sunsets…with a few activities thrown in – and that’s exactly what I found!
