Summer is coming to an end, which is always a sad moment, but that also means we’re heading into fall, my favorite season when it comes to fashion. Beyond fashion, it’s time to get back to school for some, and back to work for others, but either way, it’s time to put in the work again — and you’ll have to dress the part. In partnership with Dockers®, I wanted to talk to you guys about the perfect khakis for your transitional wardrobe, by example of these gorgeous bordeaux Dockers® Men’s Jean-Cut Supreme Flex Pants, created exclusively for Macy’s.
The beauty of a pair of khakis is the versatility: whether you’re heading to work, college or trying to keep it casual on the weekend, the styling options are endless. Here I styled it with a white longsleeve t-shirt, a denim jacket and a pair of white sneakers, let the khakis stand out.
The fit of these Dockers® is literally immaculate straight out the box: I ordered a size 31/30 even though I’m 6’2″ to create more cropped look at the bottom of the pants. This look easily works for later summer days as well as early fall, and since chinos are entirely season less you can wear these well into the colder months, as long as you add a few more layers to the upper half.
