It looks like actress Kristen Wiig, 45, is giving marriage another try!
TMZ reports Wiig has been engaged for a few months to Avi Rothman.
Wiig first sparked engagement rumors in May when she wore a huge sparkler on her left ring finger at the “Booksmart” screening in Los Angeles.
While they have kept their relationship off the radar for the past three years, they were first spotted together packing on the PDA in Kauai in 2016. At the time, a source told People magazine that Kristen and Avi had been “secretly dating for a few months,” adding, “They’re really happy together.”
It is unknown how they met, but Rothman trained at the Groundlings theater in Los Angeles, where Wiig also studied her craft. According to his IMDB, Avi has several credits for acting, writing, and producing. He also directed the 2015 short “Bunion,” which premiered at WILDsound Film Festival.
At the premiere, Rothman dished on his future plans, telling WILDsound Festival Review, “I’d really like to finish writing and shoot a feature. [It] should have been completed a year ago.”

Kristen was previously married to actor Hayes Hargrove for four years, but they divorced in 2009.
After the divorce, Wiig ruled out the possibility of walking down the aisle again. She told Stella magazine, “I probably won’t ever get married (again); it’s not something that I would want to do. (In ‘Bridesmaids’ we were careful) to not send the message that you need to get married.”
She added, “I think women put that pressure on themselves, maybe even more than society does, but, if you’re the single girl at the wedding, you know someone is going to ask you when you’re going to get married.”
Before Avi came into the picture, Wiig dated the Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, but they called it quits after more than a year together in 2013. At the time, a source told Us Weekly, “It was very amicable and they will remain friends.”
