Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have officially called it quits after less than one year after getting married, a rep for the “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer confirmed to People on Aug. 10. “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” the rep said in a statement. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
After dating on and off for 10 years, Miley and Liam tied the knot at their home in Nashville, TN in December 2018. Rumors of a split between the couple began swirling recently after fans noticed Miley not wearing her wedding ring in an Instagram photo. She’s currently on vacation in Italy with Kaitlynn Carter, who also just announced a split from husband Brody Jenner.
