From intricate floral numbers to bold prints, this evening wear label will certainly have something that appeals to your tastes.

No strangers to the street style “who’s who” circuit, Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars each have an illustrious style vocabulary, allowing them to easily transition into the world of designing clothes. The duo’s inspiration comes from the desire to fill in the gaps of their own wardrobes, and so they create dresses that they dream of having in their lives, ones with character and attitude.

Designer Jeanette Madsen joked that a good party dress has to have a V-neck that’s a little too deep, a skirt that’s way too short, and long sleeves to balance it all out. The good old-fashioned party dress that has you tugging at the bottom in hopes of not flashing anyone adds to the experience of going out anyway. Odd way to put it, but also kind of true.

While the brand is based in Copenhagen, it was launched exclusively by Net-A-Porter (that’s saying something) and continues to retail at the site.
