Bigger Is Better With This Ultra-Pigmented Eyeshadow

The O-Mega shadows certainly pack an omega punch! Given my inexperience with Marc Jacobs shadows, you can imagine my surprise when I first swatched these giant pans of beautiful shadows, perfect colours for fall winter looks. Pigmented, buttery and super blendable – I wanted to test them out on my lids immediately. I was instantly drawn to “O!Mercy”, which is a matte burnt burgundy shade that reminded me of red leaves in the Fall and is the perfect shade for an all over burgundy eye look.
The package also came with the Highliner Glam Glitter Gel Eye Crayons which I had heard rave reviews about and was especially psyched that they were glitter ones, because I love a glittery eye look. They were very creamy, easy to smudge but hard to budge after it sets. I was truly amazed after I swatched these liners and gone to wash them off only to realise that they don’t come off easily! It took some time working in an oil-based makeup remover before it all came off. I knew right there and then that these babies would last through a hurricane.
A holiday party was the perfect occasion to test out these products. The shadows stayed on throughout the night, with no creasing from my typically oily lids. I also lined my lash lines with the glitter liners, which gave my eyes some sparkle – literally. It goes without saying that the look got me a few compliments over pizza with friends.
If you’re ever looking for a staple shadow that you know you definitely would use and abuse, the O-Mega Shadows could be just the right one for you. The formula and pigmentation as well as huge pan size makes the O-Mega shadows one of the best single shadows out there. The Highliner Glam Glitter Gel Eye Crayons are also not to be missed if you want to amp up your liner game.
