It’s a boy for Eliza Dushku and Peter Palandjian!
The couple debuted son Philip on Instagram with an adorable “Lion King” pic of Peter holding him up Simba-style. The newborn looked the part in cute little lion pants.
Dushku wrote in the caption, “Our BABY = #Bourne,” adding, “Can you feel the love, Philip ‘Bourne’!?”
She later explained Bourne would be his nickname, telling fans, “as in the town down in Cape Cod vs ‘Jason.’”
Eliza shared further details of his birth, writing, “Yep, our beautiful Baby Boy arrived in Beantown… Philip ‘Bourne’ Dushku Palandjian… rolled up & out this past Saturday night to the warmest welcome of his already madly in love w him parents (good god, I love my husband!), fam & friends.”
She continued, “WE ARE JUST SO GRATEFUL & overjoyed rn & thank you ALL for sharing this exciting journey w/us.”
Dushku sprinkled the message with emojis, explaining, “my emoji game has increased exponentially… now they just shoot out of my child loving heart.”
Eliza, 38, announced the pregnancy news in February. She told Us Weekly at the time, “We’re just very excited.”
While attending a special screening of Matt Smith’s film “Mapplethorpe” in New York, the star added, “I’ve been really excited about what I’m doing with my life these days — I’ve been living in Boston, I’m about to be a senior in college, I’m studying holistic healing and addiction and trauma, and I’m newly married and I’m just so excited about this next chapter in my life. You know, I’ve been acting since I was 9 years old and I’m sort of finding these new things that I’m really excited about. It’s been a big year, but a great year.”
Dushku wed Palandjian, the CEO of Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation, in Boston in August.
Peter, 55, is already a dad of four.
