Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston are currently mourning the loss of their dog, Dolly. On Sunday, the Leftovers actor shared a handful of photos from the dog’s memorial service, including one close-up of him holding hands with a woman, which appears to be Jennifer. “Tonight, at sunset, after a heroic struggle . . . our most loyal family member and protector, Dolly A. laid down her sword and shield,” Justin wrote on Instagram. “She was surrounded by her entire family. ‘The one that never deserts, the one that never proves ungrateful . . . is the dog — faithful and true, even in death.’ -George Vest.”
Since announcing their split in February 2018, Justin and Jennifer have continued to be friendly exes. In addition to their recent reunion, Justin had nothing but kind words to say about his ex-wife as he wished Jen a happy 50th birthday in February. “Happy Birthday to this fierce Woman,” he captioned a black and white photo of the Friends alum. “Fiercely loving. Fiercely kind. . . . and fiercely funny. ❤️ you B.”
