Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton’s bundle of joy has arrived!
On Monday, Clinton, 39, welcomed a baby boy with husband Mark Mezvinsky. She tweeted, “This morning we welcomed our son, Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky. We are overflowing with love and gratitude and can’t wait to introduce him to his big sister and brother.”
A photo of Jasper has not been released yet.
In response to the news, Chelsea’s mom Hillary tweeted, “Sharing some happy news this morning! Bill and I are so thrilled.”
A few years ago, Chelsea raved to “Extra” about Hillary and Bill Clinton as hands-on grandparents. She shared, “Diapers, they help put both children to bed, for our daughter they help feed her, which is great… Some days, she eats everything on her plate and some days she decides it’s not what she wants to do, so lots of singing, lots of cajoling — my parents are really good at that.”
Jasper will join Chelsea and Mark’s other children Aidan, 3, and Charlotte, 4 ½.
More than a week before his arrival, Chelsea was seen showing off her baby bump while stepping out for a business meeting in New York City.

In January, Chelsea announced on Twitter that she was expecting again. She wrote, “Marc and I have loved watching Charlotte be such a wonderful big sister and we’re excited to watch Aidan become a big brother! We cannot wait to meet our newest addition later this summer.”
In 2017, Chelsea opened up to “Extra” about having more kids while promoting her book “She Persisted Around the World.” She said, “Oh, gosh! Have you been talking to my husband? I don’t know, we are so blessed to be Charlotte and Aidan’s parents.”
That same year, she dished on balancing work and family, telling Romper, “Like so many moms, I don’t think I will ever feel there are enough hours in the day to do all the things with my kids I wish I could do — even on the days when I’m home. But I know I am lucky to have control over my schedule so I can be home most weekends and in the mornings or evenings and hopefully both.”
Chelsea and Mark tied the knot in 2010.
