Kennedy Confidante Opens Up About JFK Jr.’s Love Life

It has been 20 years since the tragic plane crash that took the lives of John F. Kennedy Jr., his wife Carolyn Bessette, and her sister, Lauren Bessette.

Now, Kennedy confidante and author of “Fairy Tale Interrupted” Rosemarie Terenzio is opening up to “Extra” about working for him at his “not politics as usual” George magazine and his love life.

Terenzio served as George’s chief of staff, and said, “I really believe that it was really the first iteration of what we have now… the Huffington Post, Politico, the Daily Beast. I feel like [George] was the entrée into making politics accessible.”

Of his love life, Rosemarie told us he was “a serial monogamist believe it or not. He always had a steady girlfriend.”

Some of those girlfriends included Daryl Hannah, Sarah Jessica Parker and his future wife Carolyn. Terenzio called Bessette the love of his life, adding, “They had a lot of fun together. They laughed all the time.”

She went on to call him “dignified and graceful,” insisting, “I don’t think there will be another famous person like that.”

“Extra” also spoke to Kennedy friend Steven M. Gillon, who wrote the new bombshell biography “America’s Reluctant Prince: The Life of John F. Kennedy Jr.,” which is packed with rare photos and shocking details about John’s life and marriage.

The book was also the basis for the A&E docu “Biography: JFK Jr. — The Final Year.”
