NEW DESIGNERS // 11 BRANDS I FOUND ON INSTAGRAM

I often get questions about how I shop, discover new brands, and dig up unique pieces. These days, I find nearly all the new designers (or new-to-me) through Instagram – as well as other influencers. My hope is that when you visit Atlantic-Pacific you discover something – be it a new way to wear color, a surprising layering technique that you haven’t thought of, or a new brand that speaks to you. Today, I wanted to walk through and highlight a few of the new designers and brands that have caught my eye over the past few months!

YULIYA MAGDYCH

ONE // I think Yuliya Magdych loves color just as much as I do! This Ukrainian born designer is obsessed with the art embroidery and techniques that have been passed down in her family for generations. Her gorgeous caftans, robes, and dresses are all inspired by her vibrant personal style and desire to rethink and reimagine traditional Ukrainian wares.

MEDEA

TWO // Medea is a ‘Made in Italy’ accessories brand that is blending shapes, color, and size to create the chicest minimal shopper bags. Think luxe leathers and every color under the sun. Rhianna is a huge fan and so am I!

BRINKER & ELIZA

THREE // The mother/daughter duo of Brinker & Eliza produces handmade jewelry out of their studio in Connecticut. Each piece is quirky and fun and begging to be stacked! The stop and stare sunnies chain is the perfect compliment to so many of my bright translucent frames.

MERLETTE

FOUR // The Merlette collections are designed in New York for women who favor feminine yet contemporary style. Thin perfect simple summer dresses and minimal airy poplin frocks. Their pieces are equally amazing back to a simple sandal as they are layered and over accessorized.

AURELIA DEMARK

FIVE // Okay, so I didn’t find this designer on Instagram, I met her years ago when we were both working at Tory Burch! Since then we have become such dear friends. Aurelia Demark, working alongside her artist mother, makes unique and timeless fine jewelry keepsakes for all the most wonderful moments in your life. Each piece can be customized through machine or hand engraving to make one-of-a-kind.

LEAL DACCARRETT

SIX // The Colombian husband-and-wife designer duo behind Leal Daccarett are becoming a fast-favorites here at Atlantic-Pacific. I’ve already worn a few of their pieces (see here and here). I love the femininity and fun of each piece and the magical attention to proportion and print!

EMME PARSONS

SEVEN // Emme Parsons is a Los Angeles based footweardesigning for women with a focus on thoughtful details and elevated functionality. Strappy is in this season, and look no further for some of the most beautifully simple designs.

STELLA & AMELIA

EIGHT // My love for South American designers and brands seemingly has no end! Stella & Amelia is an Ecuadorian brand that combines textures, fabrics, and prints to create a playfulness that is equally romantic. Shocker, I’ve had my eye on a few of the ruffled and oversized polka dot maxi dresses!

THE LAST LINE

NINE // The Last Line is taking a new approach to precious jewelry, offering fine jewelry at fair prices in limited collection drops. The pieces are fun, quirky, colorful, and meant to last forever. I’m particularly fond of the diamond heart pendants!

ALAMEDA TURQUESA

TEN // Okay so this brand isn’t entirely new to me, in fact, the above bag has been on repeat on my site (see here, here and here). Alameda Turquesa, founded by a mother/daughter duo in Portugal, make so much more than just bags. I’m excited to see more of the shoes and accessories and especially where they decide to take the ready-to-wear pieces!

ANDREA AYALA

ELEVEN // Andrea Ayala has a way with ruffles and high ow hems on both solid and floral pieces. I just picked up a top and pant from this designer and can’t wait to style them. Stay tuned!
