The Nordstrom anniversary sale has started and I am highlighting the 5 items I am bought this year. I ordered them yesterday, but I won’t be getting them until next week, so I will keep you updated on what I decide to keep and what I return. The sale is open to cardholders and top Nordy club members today and will open to the public 7/19!
STAR COAT // This star print coat is the item I am most excited about. If you know me you know I love a good statement coat and I have bought Avec Les Filles in the past and find their pieces to be well made. I plan on find ways to print mix this style in fall – possibility with polka dots- but also think the coat is adorable with jeans and Golden Goose sneakers for a casual, yet interesting off duty look. This was the other coat I was eyeing in the sale, but ultimately I went with the more emotional choice- STARS!
BLAZER // While I have quite a few blazers, I am loving the longer cut of this style. At $112 dollars I decided to *add to cart* and hope I like the fit as much in person. Since I love, love layering I know I will get a lot of use out of this piece come fall. I also loved this plaid trench in the sale, but I just snagged this Maje plaid trench on sale and felt like they were far too similar.
POLKA DOT JUMPSUIT // I have been really into green lately so when I saw this polka dot jumpsuit in a green dot I knew I would end up buying it. I plan on belting it and wearing it with this green bag and this green organza trench!
STRIPED TEE // While #nsale is a great time to stock up on basics, I focused more on a few fashion pieces. I did however end up buying this more basic striped tee. I have plenty of boatneck, loose fitting striped tees but I was on the hunt for a more fitted scoop neck! This one fits the bill. If you are looking for some great basics in the sale this year they have my favorite Spanx leggings, my favorite madwell denim cut and these boots I have owned for over 4 years all included!
TURTLENECK SWEATER // Halogen has re-released the turtleneck from my collection in some repeat colors/stripes and some new colors! I love the material and fit (obviously) so I snagged it in two solid colors, but you can also buy the signature rainbow stripe or black/white combo!
