First Pics! Nickelodeon Alum Danny Tamberelli Welcomes Son with Wife Katelyn

Former “All That” star Danny Tamberelli and wife Katelyn Detweiler are parents for the first time!

On Monday, Danny announced that his author wife gave birth to a son on Friday in New York City. He shared on Instagram, “Was a little busy yesterday but got to celebrate Father’s Day for the first time and it was the most special day! Welcome to the world Alfred Noel Tamberelli!!!”

Tamberelli noted that Alfie and mom are “doing great” after “a very short, totally natural labor.”

The new dad gushed, “He’s the most precious thing in the world. I never knew what sense of purpose, devotion and unconditional love this would produce, but it makes my head spin with gratitude.”

“Mommy, Daddy and Alfie are back home in Brooklyn now loving and learning about each other,” the 37-year-old continued. “Side note: I wept driving over the Brooklyn Bridge on the way home listening to Sinatra explaining to Alfie how important that bridge was and how much his namesake, my grandfather, loved Sinatra. Daddy loves you forever. Can’t wait to see what lies ahead.”

Katelyn shared her own photos, writing on Instagram, “life has been a wild, happy blur ever since. sleep might already be a distant memory, but i’d much rather stare at this precious face than the inside of my eyelids. so happy to be a mama to this special human, and so happy to watch @dannytamberelli celebrate his first father’s day, already a master swaddler and my own personal diaper mentor.”

Paying Danny compliments, she went on, “alfie is the luckiest to have a daddy like you, and i can’t wait to spend this entire summer (and beyond) weeping along to ‘beautiful boy, darling boy’ with you while we fall deeper in love with our own beautiful, darling boy. 💙.”

The pair, who met on Tinder in 2014, announced they were expecting in February. At the time, Danny posted a photo of Katelyn’s growing baby bump, writing on Instagram, “Doesn’t matter what day it is, my love for you is always on 11! Can’t begin to explain the happiness I feel knowing that we are rolling into parenthood together, so in love and ready to continue our adventure!”

Referencing his time on the Nickelodeon show “The Adventures of Pete & Pete,” Tamberelli commented, “Could be a Pete or Petunia… We opted for a life surprise! More to come mid June!!”

The baby comes a year after Danny and Katelyn tied the knot in Pennsylvania.

Katelyn is prepping to promote her new book “The Undoing of Thistle Tate from Holiday House,” which comes out July 23. Danny recently told Page Six that she refers to it as her “book baby,” adding, “She’s a mom twice over in a month.”

Aside from his shows on Nickelodeon, Danny appeared on the sitcom “100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd” and in the movie “The Baby-Sitters Club.”
