Nick Jonas: ‘Chasing Happiness’ Doc Led to Jonas Brothers Getting Back Together

The Jonas Brothers are back in full force and giving fans an intimate look into their lives!

Monday night, Nick, Joe and Kevin joined their wives, Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas; their parents; and a ton of fans at the Los Angeles premiere of their documentary, “Chasing Happiness.”

Nick explained the premise of the documentary, telling “Extra” on the red carpet, “I think for us it was important to tell our real story. Initially, it was just to tell the beginning of the story. That was our childhood into the band and the breakup.”

The 26-year-old went on, “What we didn’t know is that it would lead to us coming back together. And in that it required some very honest, real conversations, we lay it all out there for the fans to see.”

The movie documents the good and the bad, including Nick initiating the band’s breakup in 2013. Joe pointed out, “It is a redemption story in some ways. The band breaking up in general, you’re not just breaking up a band, you’re breaking up family — it’s really intense.”

He emphasized, “We went through that ride of emotions. It’s quite the happy ending. Happiness begins, we find it again with each other and re-build this relationship.”

Joe, 29, was name-checking their new album “Happiness Begins,” which drops June 7.

The JoBros recently performed to a sold-out crowd at iHeartRadio Wango Tango, where they sang their latest hits, “Cool” and “Sucker,” both of which are featured on the new album.

The brothers were thrilled to be with each other and everyone who came to support them at the premiere. Kevin, 31, commented of the love, “It’s incredible.” Joe added, “It’s kind of surreal that we’re all in this place together to celebrate this big launch.”

“Chasing Happiness” is streaming on Amazon Prime now.
