Has Queen Elizabeth II Met Baby Sussex?

It’s a big day for baby Sussex! Not only was he presented to the world by his parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but he’s also meeting Queen Elizabeth II. The new royal is set to have possibly his most important family member meeting today in Windsor when his great-grandmother drops by for a visit with Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. However, it sounds like Philip had a bit of an early peek at the new baby, as during the short interview at St. George’s Hall, Windsor, Meghan told the press, “We just bumped into the Duke as we were walking by, which was so nice.”

Baby Sussex will be busy meeting lots of family members over the next few weeks. Kensington Palace announced in a press release, “the Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.” With Prince Charles and Camilla currently in Germany and William and Kate in Wales, there will be a few more exciting visit days ahead for Meghan and Harry. Meghan said, “it will be a nice moment to introduce the baby to more family. And my mom is with us as well.” We’re sure the baby has had lots of cuddles with his grandma Doria Ragland over the past few days, which Meghan described as “magic” and “special.”

We look forward to the next few days when the name of baby Sussex will be announced.
