“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with the Jonas Brothers at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, ahead of their performance on the show.
Kevin, Joe and Nick attended the award show with their significant others; Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra.
Joe told Renee he’s proud of fiancée Sophie for opening up about her mental health on a recent episode of Dr. Phil’s “Phil in the Blanks” podcast. The “Game of Thrones” star revealed she has battled depression.
“It’s a lot,” Joe said. “I think the best thing about it is she can encourage other young people out there who are going through similar stuff and be a voice that they can listen to… I am proud of her.”
Meanwhile, Joe knows how her hit show “GoT” ends, but he isn’t telling anyone.
He told Renee, “Everyone always tells her what they think will happen… she goes, ‘That’s interesting.’”
Next, the brothers will hit the road on tour. Nick said they are “so pumped.”
“We’ve had a taste with the few shows we have played, and already it’s amazing to see how different these shows are than when we were younger.”
Kevin added that it is “something really special. Maybe not what you would expect, but it’s our story of our journey back together.”
