Actress Michelle Williams and musician Phil Elverum have reportedly gone their separate ways after a year of marriage.
A source told People magazine, “Michelle and Phil separated at the beginning of the year. It was an amicable spilt and they remain friends.”
Williams sparked breakup rumors when she was spotted without her wedding ring at recent public appearances, including her TV interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

The news comes less than a year after she revealed that she was secretly married. She told Vanity Fair, “I never gave up on love. I always say to Matilda, ‘Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes.’”
Months after her revelation, the two were spotted holding hands while shopping for antiques in upstate New York. He was even seen kissing her hand as he gazed into her eyes.
