Cody isn’t much of a shopper – well he kind of is, but his version is like 20 minutes in and out of a store and he gets frustrated if they won’t have everything he’s looking for. So, whenever I hear him talking about wanting new jeans, I’ll usually just order a bunch of stuff online for him. Here are 3 staples to ‘Add to Cart’ for your guys’ next wardrobe refresh.
- Denim. Ok, Cody and I agree on most things, but denim length is not one of them. Cody lives in denim so I ordered him a few 512 Levi’s in different washes – these in the Sin City wash and the Dark Hollow wash, and also got this stretch option in the Kilt wash. I keep trying to convince him to get a shorter fit (size 32 length) but he is stuck on the 34 length so I ordered a few options in both lengths. We ended up keeping these two washes (Dark Hollow and Sin City) and then one of each length. Every guy needs some casual, lighter options and then a nice dark wash they can transition to dinner or the office with a nice suit jacket and dress boot.
- A Better-Than-Basic Tee. You can never go wrong with a great tee when shopping for your guy. I was so excited to surprise Cody with this custom personalized Levi’s tee with his initials! It’s subtle but still a great detail to make it the first tee he goes for when getting ready. It gives you a couple options for placement and comes in 3 more colors (also only $30! - Layers He’ll Love. I saw this hoodie denim jacket online and immediately loved it. It’s got a super casual, relaxed feel and what guy says no to a hoodie? It’s a great layer when you are out running errands or for a low-key date night. I also ordered this trucker jacket in Berkman – Black. It’s a really dark black wash, not faded at all, so it reads a little more polished. It also comes in a dozen different washes and it’s under $100.
