Palm Springs has been one of our favorite weekend getaways for about 8 years now. It’s only two hours from LA and absolutely beautiful. It’s a chill town, though it’s gaining rapid popularity, and it’s always about 10 degrees hotter than Los Angeles. Perfect for poolside hangs. Last weekend Damien and I went down for a little R&R. It was lovely. Then just before we headed home, I met up with my friends at avethirtyfour for a little photo shoot! These are the final images, which I love and hope you do too. And below are some of my favorite places to stay and eat in Palm Springs! Happy travels.
STAY
Avalon – Chill vibes, great food, awesome service, amazing spa and dogs allowed!
Ace Hotel – Party vibes but also good for families, pretty good food too.
Two Bunch Palms (technically not in Palm Springs but close) – Super chill vibes, spa services galore, yummy, healthy food and hot springs!
EAT
Workshop Kitchen & Bar – Our favorite place to eat in PS! The food is incredible and so are the cocktails. Get the rib-eye, cauliflower steak and all the things.
Truss & Twine – Fantastic and super fun cocktails and really great bar food. Located next door to Workshop so you can go after dinner for a dessert cocktail – get the White Russian.
Rooster & The Pig – Delicious Vietnamese food in a super chill environment. Get there early or be willing to wait a little for a table. This place is popular for good reason.
Melvyn’s – A Palm Springs institution that deserves a visit. Even if you don’t do dinner there, stop in for the live music entertainment.
Elmer’s – Diner food at it’s best! Go here to cure that Sunday morning hangover or to just stuff your face with biscuits and bacon. This place is the best! Get the German pancake.
