Nipsey Hussle Shooting Suspect Identified

Over the weekend, Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle, 33, was gunned down in front of his Marathon Clothing Company in Los Angeles.

On Monday, the police named 29-year-old Eric Holder as a suspect in the case, asking the public to help locate him. In a tweet, the LAPD said, “Eric Holder is wanted for Homicide in the shooting of Nipsey Hussle. He was last seen in a 2016 white 4 door Chevy Cruze CA license plate 7RJD742. Anyone with information related to his whereabouts or this deadly shooting is urged to contact South Bureau Homicide at 323-786-5100.”

A surveillance camera captured footage of the shooting. In the video, obtained by TMZ, a man is seen shooting and kicking Nipsey before fleeing the scene.

According to the site, Nipsey and Holder engaged in a tense conversation before the shooting. After their conversation, Holder allegedly left and returned with a gun.

Nipsey was murdered one day before his scheduled meeting with the LAPD to discuss ways of preventing gun violence. His autopsy revealed that he died from “gunshot wounds of the head and torso.”
