Ian Somerhalder was ready for a new look, so he took matters into his own hands.
After three glasses of wine, he decided to give himself a haircut… only to change his mind halfway through!
The “Vampire Diaries” star posted an Instagram photo of the botched look – long on top but shaved on the sides. Ian confessed that he realized midway that he still had reshoots coming up for his Netflix show “V-Wars,” so it wasn’t the best timing for a whole new ‘do.
He wrote, “2019… It was supposed to be the year of the Faux hawk(ish),” adding that one of his priorities for the year was a “new look.”
Somerhalder continued, “After the 3 glasses of wine wore off and the clippers ran out of battery… something hit me like a ton bricks: a little thing called “continuity” for aka #VWars reshoots! I stopped trimming… S–t.”
Luckily he has a plan, writing, “Biotin smoothies here we come- gotta grow this s–t out fast… Hair growing out and gearing up for production now. So much gratitude to you all for so much support. It means the world…”
