How to Style a Lob Haircut

Since I got my lob haircut I’ve been asked SO many times how I achieve my undone messy curls and how I keep my hair healthy. It’s super easy and doesn’t take that long. So today I’m walking you through what I do and what products I used to get the look.

Before we get into the hair tutorial and my updated hair routine, let’s talk about my cut. This is called a lob haircut, which is short for a long bob. It’s actually on the medium length side right now because it’s actually a little bit longer than usual since I’m at the tail end of needing a haircut. It’s flattering. It’s versatile. It’s easy to style.

I talked about most of the hair products I’ve been loving lately in this video. One product I failed to mention that’s been key in keeping my hair healthy is the Aquis hair towel. I think people don’t use dedicated hair towels because they feel like they’re no different than regular towels. But I can truly say that using this towel has really helped with decreasing water and heat damage that I’ve seen in my hair prior to using it. It dries my hair in about half the time is it normally does. So I’m having to use the hairdryer for less time. That’s huge! Any time you can reduce heat damage, your hair will end up healthier. (*Though this blog post isn’t sponsored by Aquis, the How to Style a Lob Haircut video tutorial is. However, I was using it prior and loved it already! Just wanted to get that out there in the nature of honesty!)

You can see exactly how to style this easy lob haircut in the messy curls tutorial below. Please let me know if you have any questions!
