“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams is a mom for the first time!
On Friday, Porsha gave birth to a baby girl, who she named PJ.
In a statement to People, Williams and fiancé Dennis McKinley said, “What a time to be alive! Porsha and I are so happy and blessed to announce the arrival of our daughter, Baby PJ. We couldn’t have imagined a more magical moment! Can’t thank everyone enough for joining us on this journey-it’s been a fantastic journey.”
Hours before the baby’s arrival, Dennis posted on Instagram, “It’s going down! BASEMENT #MEETtheMcKinleys #BabyPJ #MILFSeason #Grateful ❤️.”
Porsha’s Lauren also shared a photo at the hospital, saying, “Waiting for my baby to have a baby… Her motherly instincts have always been there. She’s my child and my mother 🤣 if you know us, you know what I mean. So I’m ecstatic to welcome my niece, granddaughter, second daughter, and sister PJ to the world today. Pray for us🙏🏽.”
During her pregnancy, Porsha was hospitalized after suffering complications “due to large fibroids.” A source told People magazine in November, “She was admitted to the hospital and will be staying a little longer than expected. Heartbeat and baby are strong.”
The 37-year-old announced she was expecting in September. She suffered a miscarriage six years before. She told People, “The thought of me getting that blessing after praying for it for so long and getting that blessing with someone who is just as excited as me — it’s Dennis’ first child, just like me — and it’s something we’ve both always wanted… It’s like a dream come true.”
