(AllHipHop News) There were many heinous accusations presented in Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly. Before the series even aired, Aaliyah’s mother Diane Haughton was pushing back against allegations that her late daughter was caught on a tour bus having sex with R. Kelly.
Recently, Lisa Van Allen, one of Kelly’s abuse accusers in Surviving, claimed Kelly also slept with Ms. Haughton. Kelly’s camp is now denying the Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number producer engaged in intercourse with the mom of his former musical protégé.

Sources close to R. Kelly say he absolutely denies he and Diane had anything but a friendly relationship. We’re told Kelly believes the only reason Van Allen made those claims in the Vlad TV interview is to further smear his name and grab headlines for herself.
A 27-year-old Robert Kelly and a 15-year-old Aaliyah Haughton were secretly married in 1994. The marriage was reportedly annulled by the teenage singer’s parents. The Kelly-Aaliyah relationship was one of the earliest examples of Kelly’s alleged attraction to underage girls.
Since that time, R. Kelly has faced numerous charges of sexual misconduct. He was acquitted of child pornography charges in 2008, but his attorney for that case is now saying he believes Kelly was guilty of engaging in unlawful sex acts with minors.
The 52-year-old Chicago native pleaded not guilty to a current 10-count indictment for aggravated sexual abuse in Cook County, Illinois. Kelly is also said to be under federal investigation for possible sex trafficking crimes.
