Despite their breakup, reality star Khloé Karashian is trying to keep it amicable with her ex, Tristan Thompson, for the sake of their daughter True.
Over the weekend, Kardashian called Tristan a “good dad.” After thanking a fan for being “very sweet,” she tweeted, “he is a good dad to her. My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that.”
Her comments come just days after reports that Tristan wasn’t “spending much time” with True. A source told People magazine, “It’s very upsetting to Khloé. To her, True is the most important person ever. It’s very difficult for her to understand how Tristan isn’t willing to make more of an effort to spend time with True.”
Last week, Tristan celebrated his 28th birthday without True. The insider continued, “It saddens her that True doesn’t have a very close relationship with Tristan. Khloé has always done everything she can to encourage Tristan to spend time with his daughter.”
Over the weekend, “Extra” caught up with Khloé’s BFF Malika Haqq, who praised her for being “incredibly strong,” in the wake of the split after a cheating scandal.
