Students strike to save their future — and the planet – ThinkProgress


Young people are fed up with politicians not listening to the science and failing to protect their future and their planet. On March 15, they went on strike and walked out of the classroom. In more than 100 countries, from Germany and Australia to Uganda and South Korea, students want urgent action on climate change. In Washington, D.C., youth activists joined thousands in 136 different cities across the United States demanding their voices be heard.
